The Sawa LE (or LEM for Magnetic Coupling) Centrifugal Pump allows for quiet, gentle and efficient product pumping thanks to its optimised fluid-dynamic design, volute-casing and impeller geometry. The dead space-free design allows hygienic operation and fast pump cleaning. The normal-priming SAWA centrifugal pump LE convinces through its silent operation and its optimised fluid-dynamics design. The pump is CIP and SIP compliant and is therefore quickly cleaned. The SAWA centrifugal pump LE is often used in the beverage, food and pharmaceutical industry. The robust execution makes it possible to pump solids-laden and abrasiv liquids.

Sawa’s LEM Centrifugal Pump comes with a magnetic coupling. Because of their hermetically sealed design, magnetically coupled pumps are ideal when used for crystallising, toxic, flammable and en- vironmentally hazardous liquids. The containment shell between the two parts of the magnetic coupling seals off the pumped medium to the outside. This makes mechanical seals redundant. The magnetic coupling pumps are thus far more resistant to wear and consequently are generally entirely maintenance-free. A seal- ing-pressure system is therefore not necessary.
