When mixing smaller volumes, the vessel becomes narrower. With a normal design the mixer is placed on the side of the bottom and the outlet in the middle. In such cases the manufacturing of the vessel becomes challenging and involves high risk of warpage during welding of the components into the bottom dish.
The location of the mixer is limited, and often the mixer cannot be placed in the optimal position meaning the best mixing performance cannot be achieved. All the different materials and welding need to be recorded and documented during validation.
Introducing the Dished End solution, an all-in-one unit, with a predefined optimal design. This reduces engineering time, and enables small tank installation that would otherwise not be possible. Due to the off-center outlet location, the mixer can be put in the optimal location for best mixing performance. Additionally, the entire Dished End is manufactured from a single block of material, eliminating all of the risky welding. With this unit, the need of validation and documentation is reduced thanks to the use of a single raw material. The Dished End optimises mixing performance by combining the correct mixer, mixer location and vessel design ensuring a reliable and predictable performance.
